Wait and See

Amber wondered when Jacob would get a hold of her. She gave him the time because she didn’t get his number she just gave him hers. She goes through Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before she hears from him but Thursday night text her.

Jacob: I would love to take you on a proper date. Would you like to go to dinner with me Friday night at Luanne‘s?

Luanne is a fancy restaurant like hundred dollar salads fancy.

Amber: I would love that. what time will you pick me up? You know my address ;)

Jacob: is 5 o’clock too early?

Amber: Not at all

Was she kidding? She won’t have a ton of time to get ready after work. She definitely needs something new to wear because that restaurant is too fancy for anything in her closet. She jumps up immediately, grabs her car keys and goes to find herself a dress. she can’t afford high-end, but she can go to something that replicates it Susan’s that’s where she needs to go.

She calls Tina on the way telling her she had strict instructions to meet her at Susan‘s soon as possible. They had address to find and Tina loves the challenge like that. For you know what they’re both walking into the store together on the hunt. “ it has to be black and sexy.” Tina says insistently. She starts pulling dresses off the rack so fast Amber can’t even keep up with her before she knows it. Tina shoved her into a changing room.

Amber is one of those that will not leave the dressing room unless she’s found the dress. “ Tina, are you ready to see?” she yells. “ girl get out here!” that was all Amber needed and she flipped the curtain up stepped out and Tina’s jaw was on the floor. “ oh you’re gonna drive him crazy in that.” “ is it too much?” she asked for reluctantly. “ not at all it’s perfect.”

Amber loved this dress. She didn’t wanna take it off, but she had to. she gets back into the dressing room takes it off put the other dresses back makes her way to the register. she gets to the register and they scan it, and the lady says “ that would be $250.” wow “ I didn’t even look at the price tag.” Amber says with a nervous look on her face.” girl you owe yourself this and you can afford it.” Tina encourages. Amber was hesitant, but she pulled out her card and swiped it. Just got better be worth it because Amber is frugal lady and spending $250 on a dress is something she would never would have done.

By the time she gets home with this dress and hangs it in the closet, it is seven. So she goes to the kitchen and gets herself dinner when she gets another text message.

Jacob: how was your day?

Amber: good. But nothing to eventful, other than a kid sticking a pencil up his nose.

Jacob: ??

Amber: oh forgot to tell you I’m a teacher lol

Jacob: oh that makes sense lol so just a pencil there was no glue eating.

Amber: no they kind of outgrown that they just think the pencil is funny

Jacob: they can’t be too old. They’re trying to make people laugh with pencils have their nose. I’m guessing higher elementary.

Amber: you got it

Jacob: well they’re very lucky because they have a sweet and very pretty teacher

Amber: 😊

Jacob: it’s true. Well I will let the pretty teacher go so she can get her sleep. Those great little minds need to be shaped so good night.

Amber: Good night

Everything seems so easy with him. She’s going to get very little sleep tonight. Well, maybe a hot bath will help. She goes into the bathroom. Start running the bathwater with bubble bath. She lights a few candles turn the lights off. She slides in the bath allowing the warm water to cover her body. she is soaking in her mind, starts to wander to Jacob. She can’t stop thinking about his smile, his muscles, his hands, and those gray sweatpants.

Those thoughts creeping for she knows it. She’s touching herself again rubbing the studs all over her t**s, closing her eyes wishing they were him.
