The Tower bustled with activity, shouts carried over the courtyard as Xavier strode through the groups of people. He had sought out a few he knew were loyal to Aiyanna, more so than Liam, and weren't afraid to go against orders if needed. Liam was losing control, and if Xavier didn't locate Aiyanna soon the possibility Xavier would have to challenge him grew daunting.
Deep down Xavier knew he would beat his friend in a fight, he had known for a while that his powers gave him the upper hand. But that didn't mean he wanted to.
