Uriel
I watched as Abriel walked into the forest and I could feel that he was more of sad than he was angry.
I didn't try talking to him or calling him and let him go and cool off.
I then walked towards the bedroom where our mate was and knocked on the door.
When I entered, Macey was sitting on the bed with Jariel towering over her.
She looked like she was angry and I didn't know how to go about asking what was wrong.
“What made Abe angry?" I asked Jar through our link.
“He was concerned about her and demanded that she never walk alone again and he used a possessive tone and she asked what business of his it was what she decided to do with her life.
I guess he felt helpless since he still can't tell her the truth," Jar explained and I could totally get her.
“How are you feeling Macey?" I asked her as I walked towards her.
I wasn't the talkative type and I was even more awkward than Abe was but I had to try because this was our mate.
She looked at me sceptically and nodded her head.
“I am much better. Thank you for saving me," she told me and I was happy.
She, at least, didn't show me any animosity.
The three of us stayed in the room and it felt awkward since none of us was willing to say anything.
“Ahem,” Jar cleared his throat wanting to expel the awkwardness and I liked him.
“Say something," he told me through our link and I gave him a wtf look because I was wondering what to say.
"Just do it. She is wondering what we are doing here and I don't want to go,” he said and I wondered why not him.
"You are the one who should talk then. Why me?” I argued and Macey was also starting to give us the looks.
We were arguing soundlessly but our facial expressions showed that we were doing something.
"What are you two doing? Are you guys okay? Do you need to go?” She asked us, looking confused.
"No. It's just that… I… we… I… errm… we…”
"We are worried about you,” I tried talking but couldn't and Jar saved the day.
She looked confused.
“Why would you be worried about me? I am just the new girl on the block and I was careless today.
You don't need to be worried about me," she said and I wished that I could just tell her why we were so worried about her.
“Macey, please promise us that you will take care of yourself.
Or at least, ask any of us to walk home with you or even Linda if you ever feel like walking again," I said and she looked at me.
She seemed to want to argue and then thought better of it. She opened her mouth and closed it repeatedly like a fish out of water and then just nodded at the end.
“I will be careful. I wouldn't even walk again after I saw those huge wild dogs," she said.
"Wolves,” Jar said, earning looks from the both of us.
Mine was a wtf look and Macey’s was ‘what?’ look.
“I… I mean that there are no wild dogs on this side. There are only wolves,” he said andacey just nodded.
"Did they hurt you? The three wolves?" Jar asked her and I was also eager to hear what she would say.
“How… how did you know how many there were?” She asked and I almost facepalmed because Jar was selling us.
“I mean. You told us. Didn't you remember saying that you saw three wild dogs?" He tried remedying the situation and although she didn't seem convinced, she didn't argue about it.
“So, did they hurt you?" Jar asked again.
I guess not seeing that I am here," she said looking confused.
“Good. Then we will leave you to rest and maybe come visit again tomorrow?" I asked and Jar seems confused.
“Are we?" He asked not wanting to leave.
"Yes we are. Good bye Macey," I said and then pulled Jar out.
“Bye, see you tomorrow," Jar finished saying as I closed the door.
“Why did we have to leave so quickly? Couldn't we have stayed for a little longer?" Jar asked and I gave him the look that always shut them up.
“We can't sell ourselves out this early. She isn't ready.
Let's look for Abe and talk," I told him and we went to bid Fiona goodbye and I didn't forget to tell her not to let Macey walk on her own again unless Linda was with her.
“Where are you?" I asked Abe through our link.
“Here," he said, coming from behind a tree not far from Fiona's house.
“We need to talk,” I told them and then transformed to run home and they did the same.
We were the leaders here and we could change any time without consequences.
When we got home, I went straight into the bathroom and when I was adjusting the water temperature, the two walked in.
“I told you that I don't want to be naked with you in the same room," I told them.
I usually disliked bathing together.
The last time we did that, we were less than ten years old and it was mom who had insisted.
“What difference does it make seeing that we will be sharing a mate?" Abe asked and it was true.
"That's true. We might be triplets and we will be sharing a mate and I think it's time we get used to sharing a bath,” Jar added and I groaned.
I hated that I had to do this with them.
"Not unless you don't want to share,” Abe asked me and I felt bad for behaving like that.
"It was the Goddess's will and we can't question her. It's just that… okay. Let's take a bath,” I said and I then scented that hateful b***h.
"She's here,” I said.
"Who?” Abe asked.
"That w***e. Now that we have a mate, you better get rid of her otherwise I will never allow you to touch Macey,” I threatened Jariel who also groaned in annoyance.
“I already told you Uri. I only slept with her once and now she thinks she is entitled to me. It was just a drunken mistake that I regret.
And believe me, I already told her now that we have a Luna, she can't keep clinging to me but I have never seen a more shameless b***h," he said and Abe laughed.
“Should I take care of her for you?" Abe asked.
“Abe? What's on your mind?" I asked him.
“She could disappear and never be found," he said and I knew he could do it.
"Not yet. Jar, just make sure that you take care of her," I said and we started bathing.
After that, we went to change and Jar went to get rid of her. Abe and I were in the kitchen waiting for him when he came in with her in tow.
“What is she doing here?" I asked in irritation.
My wolf hated her and I hated her more for her guts.
“Uriel, I am here to eat with you guys.
"I am Abriel and you aren't welcome. Now, leave,” Abe told her after she confused us yet again and she looked embarrassed.
"Jar, take care of her. Otherwise I will," I told him and he looked at her.
“How many times have I told you that I don't want you to follow me Cassandra? Just leave and don't look for me anymore,” Jar told her and instead of leaving, she clung to him.
"Is it because of that new b***h? You know that I love you,” she said and before I could register what was happening, Abe was on his feet with her in his arms.
He was holding her by the neck and he slammed her to the wall.
"Was that my mate you called a b***h? Was that YOUR LUNA THAT YOU DARED TO INSULT?" He asked her and strangely enough, none of us went to help her.
She had it coming and if it wasn't Abe, it would have been me strangling her. She gagged as he tightened his hold.
“This is your last warning. Stay away from us. The next time you dare come near us, we will make sure that your body will never be found. Believe me, this castle is huge enough and the snow could bury you. Now, scram!" He said as he threw her out of the window.
“Make sure that she never comes back here again, Jar. Otherwise I swear that I will beat you into a pulp,” Abe said and that made Jar angry.
"I am your elder brother and you should respect me Abe!” Jar shouted in anger.
“By forty one seconds Jar.
Forty one seconds damned seconds. So, don't wave the ‘I am older than you card at me’.
We have given you enough leeway. Take care of your mess!” Abe was really angry.
"Uri, are you going to just stand there and watch him disrespect me?” Jar asked me looking for support.
“Because he's right," he wasn't getting any help from me.
He better take care of that b***h.
