Uriel
Macey Summers.
That's her name.
Our mate's name.
She is beautiful.
No, that would be an understatement to define her.
She is beyond beautiful.
She is perfect in everything and in any way.
We first stumbled across her some months ago as my brothers and I toured a human city.
Of all the places we would have expected to find our mate, it was definitely not in a hospital in a small city among humans yet she smelled different.
Her scent was concealed for sure and only an Alpha blood could tell that.
We had stumbled upon her when we sent a human, my brother Jariel had knocked over with his car, to the hospital.
When we did, her sweet intoxicating scent had driven me wild and had made my wolf growling possessively, wanting to claim her on the spot.
He wanted to possess her so that she won't be taken by another.
Then I heard my brothers call out ‘mate’ at the same time and that's when the realisation hit me: we shared the same mate.
Ever heard of triplets sharing a mate?
Maybe we would be a first.
Being three Alpha bloods, sharing a mate was not going to be easy yet rejecting her was not an option.
When we saw her, she was weeping.
The sound of her heartbreaking sobs resonated through the empty hospital hallway breaking my heart to a thousand pieces.
I wanted to comfort her, but she would freak out if I did. I could see that my brothers wanted to do the same thing but like me, they also couldn't.
From her heartbreaking sobs, one could tell that she had lost someone very dear to her.
I could feel her raw pain as it filled the place, but there was nothing that we could do to ease her pain or comfort her and that broke my heart even more.
We couldn't reveal our presence and scare her now, could we?
What would we even tell her?
“Hello beautiful? We are your mates and we are sorry about your loss. We are wolves by the way.”
That would have been simply absurd, especially with the fact that our existence still remains hidden among humans.
The humans believe that werewolves don't exist and that it's all a fairy tale.
It's better that way. Who knows what crazy ideas humans will have after learning about us.
Yet the murder cases happening around the humans had us thinking that a werewolf was involved. That's also the reason we left our kingdom under the guise of travelling around to investigate.
As the leaders of the biggest werewolves pack, it was our solemn duty to keep our people hidden and safe and also make sure that the pact between the humans leaders and us remains unbroken.
The last thing we needed was to have hunters after our asses.
Dragging my brothers away from the place, I decided to give her time to get her s**t together because she looked like a mess.
One look at her and you could tell that she had rushed to the hospital under a short notice.
“We can't leave her here, she is our mate,” Jariel argued.
He seemed like he would gladly drag her out of the hospital and take her to the kingdom any moment without hesitation.
“We can't take her with us either. She is not in her right state of mind. We have to give her time,“ At least, Abriel agreed with me.
We managed to finally convince Jariel to leave the hospital and the city.
Going back to the kingdom, I spared no efforts in finding all the information about her. That's when I came to realise that her father was originally part of our pack but left after finding his mate.
Looking into her father's family, that's when I came across Fiona, her father's sister who was married to one of my trusted warriors Leonardo.
I figured out that she would be the right person to bring our mate home.
Yes, this was her ancestral home and her future abode.
When I approached Fiona, she was reluctant and insisted that her brother never wanted his daughter to have anything to do with the Amawi kingdom, making me wonder why it sounded like he resented the kingdom.
Looking into the past, that's when I understood why he didn't want his daughter around the kingdom.
Turns out he fell in love with a witch and to keep her, he was banished from the land after he refused to give her up.
It was a law since ancient times that witches were not allowed in our land. Things changed with time though with all the mating bonds forged between the two species.
Turns out that our mate is a hybrid.
It was no wonder her scent, although concealed, had a different fragrance.
It wasn't until the human town started being too insecure with countless deaths reported each day that Fiona finally agreed to persuade our mate to move in with her.
When she finally arrived at the kingdom, my brothers and I sneaked to see her and I could sense the restraint they had to exercise not to match to her and mark her as ours.
At school, we would end up stalking her almost anywhere she went.
Everybody in the kingdom knew that she was our mate, their Luna and they accorded her the respect she deserved as their queen.
Meeting Linda and befriending her was part of our plan.
Linda is one of our female warriors and with her around at school, nobody would dare to mess with her.
Not like anyone would, well, except for Jariel’s b***h.
That annoying woman. I wonder what Jariel even saw in her to stick his d**k into her p***y.
What's her name again? Cassey or is it Cassandra. Nevermind.
Apart from her beauty and body , she boasts of nothing else. That is if we exclude her famous reputation of sleeping around like the w***e she is.
Compared to our mate, she would be reduced to a joke.
When Linda mindlinked us that Macey was walking home alone, we didn't hesitate to shift into our wolves and stalk her.
With the case of rogues being spotted around the borders, it was extremely dangerous for her to be walking alone in the woods.
I wonder what she was thinking but considering she knew nothing about werewolves nor did she know that she lived among them, she must have thought it was safe walking alone.
When we approached her in our wolf forms, which I knew was a bad idea, who would have thought she would faint when Abriel nudged her with his head.
It was funny though, considering how she had tried to put up a brave face earlier.
We looked at each other not knowing where to start.
Oh, and by the way, we triplets are Uriel, Jariel and Abriel Amawi.
The Supreme leaders of the Amawi Kingdom.
