“The rats are coming!” Lizzie shouted. She was running behind me so I instinctively glanced back, and saw a group of giant rats coming right at us. Dave, who was at the back, swung his shovel and hit a pile of broken chairs and tables lying on the ground, and sent them flying at the rats.
