I woke up early with the rising of the sun. I had left the curtains open in the room by accident and the sun had shone brightly on to my face, much earlier than I would have liked. Although I am used to getting up early, mainly because Mum never lets me stay in bed late, I don’t particularly like being awake this early. The campervan was not suited to long lie-ins anyway, but I would have liked to have stayed asleep a little bit longer in this huge comfortable bed. “Good morning Hattie.” I say to my wolf brightly. Tommo, the Beta’s son, had suggested trying to talk to Hattie more and to start instigating conversations rather than just replying to her. He said it was vital to have pleasant conversations to build a good rapport, which would help us get used to each other. I don’t understand
