I wake up feeling surprisingly refreshed. I can’t remember the last time I slept so well, and considering what had happened yesterday I didn’t think I would sleep very well at all. I go to get up and get dressed, then remember that I don’t have anything clean to wear, so I roll over and snuggle into the soft clean covers replaying last night’s encounter with Hayden. No stop it, I tell myself. It’s not a good idea, I’m supposed to be forgetting it ever happened, not replaying it over and over again the second I wake up.
