“IT’S GOING TO be okay, Chelsey,” said Slade as I lay under the covers, staring at the wall. I’d been that way for the last two days, afraid to leave my room, let alone my bed. Nobody could talk me out of it, either. Not Slade, Melody, or even Liam, who’d visited me, earlier that morning. None of them had been able to lift my spirits and truthfully, I didn’t want them to.
