A day after getting the envelope from Francis, Mitch was in her room with Tessy when she got a text from Francis saying ' your time is ticking, I await your answer.' Mitch sat up and reread the message.
"Tessy, Francis sent a text but with a new number."
"What?" Tessy said, got up, and looked at the text.
"Am scared," Mitch said to Tessy.
"What are you scared of?" Tessy asked quizzically.
"I don't know. I just feel restless."
"You shouldn't be. Look we'll get out of this. Am sure of that." Tessy tried to console her.
"I hope so," Mitch answered Tessy. She was so restless and scared because she doesn't understand why Francis will go to such a length and still claim to love her.
