I stare at the door where Blakely just left.
Why did I just do that?
I mentally kick myself for pushing her away.
“I was happy with Trey.”
Those words had hurt more than I would have thought.
I thought we were making progress, that she was coming around to the mate bond, but it seems like every time I think this, she pushes me away.
We finally made love, and it was amazing. Then when I tried to get her to open up to me on a more emotional level, she pulled back.
I want more than just physical.
