Chapter Twelve Brady waited by the back door of the Subaru as Marcus tossed the keys to Luke and rested his hand on the roof of the car. The sense of urgency that tightened in his stomach and across his chest had him fighting the urge to yell and scream at his brothers, at the night. He couldn’t remember ever having felt so helpless. “You know what? Before we head out to the Warren place, I want to have a word with the owner of the guest house,” Marcus said. “Just give me a minute.
