Chapter Ten “What’s going on?” Lacie asked. When fingers had brushed the apple of her cheek, she had known immediately that they didn’t belong to Ryder. She’d heard the door and assumed Ryder was returning to her side, so she hadn’t bothered to open her eyes and disturb the slumber that was tempting her.
