Chapter 5

POV: Nathan

I decided to have my dinner at Saison before heading home, immediately i pulled up into the driveway i handed my keys to the valet before setting towards the entrance of the restaurant and there was a girl standing at the entrance and immediately she turned back looking at me she rushed into the restaurant which seemed off but i didn't think much of it as i stepped into the building and saw the lady still standing beside the waitress who immediately bypassed her and came rushing to my direction, good evening Mr Asher let me show you to your table please come with me and i turned and saw the face of the lady and i immediately recognized her and i think she did too it was the girl from the airport that had bumped into me i can still remember her because she has the features that is hard to forget and i got lost in her eyes again but she broke eye contact and i allowed the waitress to lead me to my table and before i could take a sit she was nowhere to be found .

I still held hope to see her but i didn't even when i was done with my meals and i stood up to leave . Stepping out of the restaurant i waited for the valet to bring my car while i was waiting i heard a voice i just knew who it was before she even walked up to me ,hey Nate Vivian said and i just nodded,i don't know why she doesn't get that there can be nothing between us even if the s*x is good which we haven't had since last year and i don't have any plans of doing so , she still stood beside me trying to link her arms with mine but i resisted and thanked the lord for making the valet arrive just in time before i loose my cool and i stepped into the car immediately and zoomed off . Getting home i stepped into the elevator stopping at the last floor where my apartment is unlocking the door and heading straight to my the liquor cabinet and pouring myself a shot gulping it down as it burns my throat which i appreciated and i went towards my room to undress before stepping into the bathroom taking a long cold shower and the face of that girl popped up in my head again and i immediately turned the shower off and stepped out of the bathroom tying a robe around myself and i went back to the liquor cabinet pouring myself another shot and i decided to continue working to clear my head.
