“You too, huh? I tried not to worry, but it was hard. I’m realizing this next week will probably be worse.” Hannah turned to look at Emma. For a split second, she could have convinced herself Emma’s blue eyes were her mother’s. It wasn’t just the color; it was the shape and something else indefinable. Hannah blinked and batted the feeling away, reminding herself her mother was long gone and Emma might not be her sister. “Yeah, I’m guessing this week will probably be worse.
