The next several weeks went by oddly fast. We spent most of our time cleaning, organizing, and helping Marg and Carl find a new place. They ended up finding a cute little bungalow in the retirement community, which wasn’t very far from the diner. Their move in day was the day after my birthday, since the house was already unoccupied and move-in ready. That also meant I got to spend my birthday with everyone.
