Encounter Chapter 9

Natty POV:

 Before I could realize what was happening Clifton pushed me against a nearby wall and lifted me up by my hips and kissed me with passion that was unlike that on the chaise in my room. I kissed him back while wrapping my legs around his waist and our tongues began to just wrestle for dominance. I could feel his hands grab my ass hard and move up to my breasts but before I could let him touch them I pushed him back and said “not here” I saw him look at me with puppy eyes and I almost began to crumble then a butler came “Master Clifton you are needed downstairs for new measurements for your tuxedo” the butler said while bowing, I head Clifton give an aggravated sigh then another in defeat “alright I’ll be down in just a few minutes” he said while looking at me “maybe it’s for the best that we wait since people keep interrupting us every time we try to” he said while looking like he’s almost losing hope and walking away. Poor Cliffy, he’s right though it seems like every time we touch someone does interrupt us and we separate unhappily. I must get over this nervousness with him but how can I? I mean I am a virgin I’ve seen a man naked before but I either keep getting scared or embarrassed.

As I began to walk toward my room I was stopped by a maid “Miss Nathina the tailor has arrived and they need to make measurements for your pre-engagement part and wedding day I think, I honestly don’t really remember if the tailor said that about the wedding day. Isn’t it too soon Miss?” Maid one asked me I had to think about that “hmm, I think it is a little too soon for the wedding dress but that’s ok can you take me to the tailor please?” I asked her, she nodded at me and began to lead the way to the first floor.

After maybe 3 hours of fitting me for not one not two not three but four damn dresses, they told me that my mother asked them to make my coronation dress as well I guess I’ll be made the queen of witches soon, but that doesn’t make sense shouldn’t I be studying for that first before I have a ceremony? Just as I was thinking this Irina came to me with a big smile on her face and smelling like m*******a all, I could do to this was smile and pretend that the smell didn’t bother me a little.

“Natty sweetie? I feel like I should apologize for unleashing the monster earlier in front of you, I never wanted you to see me like that, but I don’t abide stupidity from ignorant females from my son’s past. I swear you’ll never see that again, but what I came to tell you was that your mother wants you to study some books they’ve already been put in your room on the desk, and she also sent your laptop as well to make it a little easier, so you don’t have to write everything. Your mother is being very through for what is to come, I hope your ready baby girl”. Irina said with a happy smile, “God-mommy it’s ok I understand why you went crazy when you saw her here after you said that you’d take care of it, so I’m not upset nor am I scared of you I love you! No matter what” I said to her while I held her hands then gave her a hug which she tightened then looked at me and said while crying “Natty you have not called me that since you were a baby, thank you baby I need that I needed that sweetness again especially after today”

When we were done talking, I walked past the ballroom and saw how beautiful it was already becoming with white streamers on the walls as well as the chairs hell earlier I saw some beautiful vases with white roses, baby’s breath, cornflowers, daisies, and gardenia those beautiful flowers will be the centerpieces for the tables. When they were measuring me for my wedding dress the tailors assistant was readying my bouquet for me to carry down the aisle, I happened to see what she was choosing lily of the valley with baby’s breath was what I mainly saw before the tailor asked me to turn the opposite way. I’m just glad I’m able to choose my own wedding dress I was told my mother had to choose my coronation dress for me as is tradition for my family, I couldn’t help but smile at the thought that if I had a baby girl, I’d be doing the same thing for her. I began to think how my baby would look with Clifton’s eyes and my hair just the thought made me happy, and I couldn’t stop the smile on my face. “Are you alright Ms. Andrews? Do we need to stop for a bit?” the tailor asked me worriedly, I looked confusedly at him “what do you mean?” I said to him with my head c****d he simply pointed me at the mirror, I was crying I didn’t even notice that I was crying. I quickly wiped away the tears and said “please continue I was just crying tears of joy its nothing to worry about” I said while smiling at him then I heard everyone say Oh! Then continue with the measurements. I couldn’t help but think about Clifton, Hopefully I can remain a virgin long enough to enjoy wearing white, oh who am the hell do I think I’m kidding at this rate I won’t even make it to the wedding night the way Clifton and I can’t keep our hands to ourselves I’m most likely going to end up pregnant before the wedding even comes which is just in a couple weeks just the thought got me grinning like a damn i***t. Maybe I should get my head in the damn books the sooner I finish them the better so that way I have more time for Clifton, and I’d be a more capable queen nobody wants a useless queen. When I made it back to my room, I was stunned I know Irina said some books, but what I didn’t expect she meant was at least 50 books that looked thicker than the bible!? Why mom!? Why!? I dragged my feet forward not wanting to read anymore. Luckily the damn books were labeled for me to read in the correct order.

A few hours have passed since I started studying hard and man am I tired, but I have yet to see Clifton since he went off to be fitted for his tux. That’s strange I hope that he’s ok, I went to his room and saw that the door was not completely done yet they were still working on it maybe they might know where he went “Excuse me? Do you know where Clifton went?” I asked them, the older man began to think about it for a minute then snapped his fingers “yes he said that he’d be in the office or the study I believe” I thanked them then thought for a minute if I go down there and were interrupted again he’s going to feel bad again I don’t want that I’d better go back to studying or my moms going to be upset with me and one more monster momma is not what I want to see. So, I had to drag myself back to the mountain of books luckily, I got the first 3 done now at least 47, “book number 4 here I come” I said with zero excitement.

When I finished the fourth book my mom put in a quiz with a note, “Baby, I need to make sure you learned everything from the first 4 books so this is a quick quiz, do it quickly so you can go about the rest of the day, the quiz will be sent to me automatically once you put it back into the book in-between pages 110-111 I love you and I know that you can ace this and I’ll call you tomorrow with your results. Mommy”. Alright lets get this done so I can go to bed just as I put the single paged quiz onto the desk a knock came, I got up from the desk and made my way to the door. “Clifton, unfortunately I’m right in the middle of a quiz unless you’re ok with waiting until I’m done?” I said happy to see him but unhappy that I’m in the middle of about to start my test “I’ll just wait until your done then, I didn’t get to see you after your measurements were taken and I missed you” he said and I just let him in with a smile on my face he sat on the bed and began reading a book I couldn’t help but smile at him. Alright lets get this quiz done!

After forty minutes I was able to finish the quiz but before I put it in the book for my mom to get it, I double checked my answers and only one wrong answer I put so I fixed it quickly and put the quiz folded into the book on pages 111-110 and closed the book. What I didn’t expect was that the book would glow when I did that. After sitting there in amazement Clifton snapped me out of it and hugged me “I’m so proud of you” he said with a smile “is it ok for us both to sleep together?” I asked him he looked at me with a flirty look and an eyebrow raised “not like that! I meant actually sleep!” I said frantically he just bust out laughing and practically rolling on the floor. I just got up out of my chair and grabbed my nightgown and went into the bathroom, “baby? I’m sorry I already knew what you meant I’d love to sleep with you” he said while still snickering but then stopped when he saw me “I’m going back to my room to get my pajamas” he said and practically bolted out the door now I can laugh I came out of the bathroom with my silk nightgown on that fitted perfectly to my body. Since I know he’s going to be a minute I think I’ll get into bed before he gets here. Just as I’m getting ready to lie down in the bed, he comes back in with pajama bottoms on and no shirt, I couldn’t help but stare and blush what have I done? Clifton looks too damn good why does he have to have that perfectly chiseled body while he wasn’t looking, I thanked God for this man and perfection. He took off his slippers and got into bed with me, I kissed him good night and clung to him as soon as he laid down with me kissing my forehead then turned the lights off.
