Chapter 2

1458 Words
~Callahan~ I start packing whatever might be essential to survive living with a psycho. My blades are the first thing I throw into the suitcase, then the little clothes I have in my closet since most of them are at my apartment close to the university. I also throw in all of my toiletries, and a few accessories, like my favorite watch and rings that I use from time to time. I start to pack my computer and notebooks when my bedroom door flings open and in came Caesar in all of his glory like he owns my goddamn room. “Are you done?” he asks, starting to walk around my room and stopping when he spots the picture on my desk. It’s from when I was younger, and still full of love and life. Not that lasted much, my father made sure to squish that s**t out of me. “I just need a few more minutes,” I tell him with a murmur and continue packing. “What’s with all the books?” he slides his hand on the book of anatomy that’s open on my desk, and then passes a few pages, looking at all the pictures. “Didn’t your parents ever teach you manners?” I stump over to him and close the book with force, taking it with me and placing it inside the duffle bag. “Snooping is not of my liking,” I tell him as I turn around to face him, but stumble back a little when I notice he is only inches away from me. How did he do that? It is not physically possible for humans to move around so silently. I take a moment to look at the scar he carries on his face, it runs from his left eyebrow down to half his left cheek. It’s a miracle he wasn’t blinded, the scar looks deep, making him look even more psychotic. Everything about this dude is psychotic. “It’s not snooping when you belong to me.” He hums out, leaning towards me even more. I narrow my eyes at him and mutter curses under my breath. I shove him away and continue packing and make a mental note that I need to stop by my apartment to get some things. “I don’t belong to anyone, especially an asshole like you” I growl out, as I shove a pair of boots into the suitcase. “Look Cal—do you mind if I call you Cal?” he hums in question, and I’m about to say something when he raises his hand to shut me up. “I don’t really care honestly,” he says with a shrug and licks his lips, he once again walks closer to me and bends over a little, so that we are at the same eye level. “Listen to me very carefully Cal— everything and when I mean everything, I literally mean everything belongs to me, your body, thoughts, lips, and heart, they are all mine” he grabs a hold of my throat and pulls my face closer to his, where our breaths interwind. “I will make your life a living hell,” I say irritated, already fuming being near such an asshole, but Caesar just smirks at my words. “Good, then that means I have all of our life here on earth and then our time in hell to corrupt that mind of yours into liking me.” His voice is low as I notice how his eyes travel from mine to my lips, I unvoluntary lick them, and that seems to snap Caesar from his trance as he lets go of my throat with a grumble and takes a few steps away from me. “You don’t seem as hostile as I thought you would be, considering the fact that now I own your soul” he is back to looking around my room with interest, stopping every time he sees an achievement or photo of mine. “I’m behaving, there is a very thin line between the two,” I say with a humorless laugh and a roll of my eyes, not that he notices since he is too busy looking at my high school diploma and all the awards, I received on graduation night. “Besides I know that if I'm a little s**t towards you, then you will threaten my family, not that I care a lot about my father, my sister maybe like a one-fourth, but I love my mother with my whole heart, and I will die before anything bad happens to her.” “Aw, a momma’s boy?” he questions, and I narrow my eyes at him. Sue me, I am a momma’s boy, thanks to her I’m the guy I am. “Is this all you are packing?” He changes the topic and I nod my head at his question. “We need to go to my apartment and pick up all of my stuff” I exhale, trying to make sense of the situation and all the drastic measures that I have to take. “You aren’t thinking of running off, are you?” “I’m not going to run off dipshit, I just need to get all of my s**t, email college to get all of my transfer papers ready, and then try to find a college in Italy that I actually like and see if they will take me in so far into the semester” Caesar eyes narrow at my words as they seem to sink in. “Your father wasn’t kidding; you really want to be a doctor” he muses out and I level my gaze with him. “And what makes you think that I will allow it?” His laugh is cold and lacks any sense of humor. “I'm behaving Caesar, don’t make me act like a little asshole towards you, I am letting you move my whole life to Italy, but I will not let you rip away my dream. That I will not negotiate.” “Fare enough doctor,” he says nonchalantly, and I nod, maybe I can survive living with this psycho, I just need to make sure to put my foot down when needed and avoid him as best as I can for the rest of my life. Piece of cake, right? After saying goodbye to my mother, who was the only one that was by the gate to wish me farewell— not that I’m complaining, if my father had shown his face, I might have strangled him to death. Caesar kept his word and took me to my apartment to get the rest of my stuff, and now we are currently on his private jet making our way to Italy, this asshole’s, home and playground. “How old are you Cal?” Caesar asks from in front of me, as he had practically shoved me into the seat in front of him, I swear the guy almost fastened my seatbelt too. But I think he knew that was a bit too much even for him. “I’m sure you already made a background check on me, the minute you signed the contract, so why ask me?” “I want you to tell me, that’s why I asked Cal” his tone dropped a nudge and his eyes darkened, he was not playing around. But I could care less, if he was in the mood or not, I’m the only one that gets to be pissed at someone, and that someone is sitting right in front of me. “Read it, now please let me sleep” I mumble trying to get as comfortable as I can and closing my eyes. “I will, only because you said please,” - I steer awake when someone nudges me on the side, I yawn and stretch a little, looking around. “We are here already?” “Already? You slept through the whole thing” Caesar says amused, with a little chuckle. Huh— even his laugh has a hint of madness behind it. “You need a hand?” he asks extending his hand for me and taking mine in his. Is he serious right now? I scowl at his hand which is currently holding mine and swat it away. “Get off me” I groan out and stand up, not missing the amusing smirk Caesar is sporting right now. “Let’s get on with it then, it’s time for you to meet the family” his is glisten with mischief and I gulp down. They couldn’t be worse than the devil himself, right?
