Teresa's P.O.V
"Clara , why don't you come with me and let the kids talk" i said to Clara
"Yes , why not" Clara said smiling
we got up and i led her to my office
"I want to know your opinion on my new collection" i said
"Of course , but why don't we let that for another time" she said
"That's fine , but i sense that you want to talk about something" i said narrowing my eyes
She raised her hand, pointing to the chair for me to sit
we sat down and she crossed her arms
"I actually wanted to talk about this in front of you and your husband , but his reputation precedes him" she said
(Yeah Julio can be too extra sometimes) i thought
"Go ahead then" i replied
"I wanted to talk about your daughter , Katherine" she said
"What about her" i said with a serious tone
"Katherine is smart , beautiful and obviously going to be a successful business woman in the future" she said
i kept listening
"And my son.." she said , but i irrupted her
"I think that i know what you're trying to say and the answer is No" i said loudly and clearly
she took a deep breath and looked at me
"Please let me continue" she replied

i nodded at her
"My son is an amazing business man , and don't forget that he is the heir of two powerful companies , and just imagine if those companies merged with the Estella's" she said
before i could say anything Julio entered the room
"That is a good idea , but honestly i thought that you would talk to us together not like this , or i might as well take a wrong impression about that" he declared
Mike aka Mr.Price entered
"And we don't want that, do we ?" he replied
they sat with us
"As my wife said Julio , if those companies worked together we could rule the whale country" he said
"I don't need any partnership , i am ruling the country , let's not forget about Spain and France" Julio replied
"We are very aware of that Julio , but on the other hand , your daughter is not going to stay single forever " she said and then her husband interrupted her
"And many people are going to try to hurt you by using her , if you know what i mean" he said
"And tell me , what makes you any different from those people ?" I asked
"As you may know , we are a very respected family in the US , and merging would give us a new title , and we both can spread our control to all of America if we work together" Mike said
"We wish you no harm" Clara added
Julio looked at me and i nodded
"I have no problem with that" he said
Mike and his wife smiled at each other
"But , i'm not doing anything if Katherine won't agree to this" Julio added
"And looking at you son's face expression when you first got here , i'm pretty sure that he isn't aware of this , is he ?" i asked
"No , he doesn't" Mike replied
"Why don't we talk with them now , the night is still young" Clara said smiling
I looked at Julio and smirked evilly , and he smiled back
Julio raised his hand pointing at the door , and then we walked toward the living room
(Where are the kids ?) i thought
i looked at Julio with questionable eyes
he shrugged his arms at me for an answer
"Tania , go call Katherine and our guest" i told the housekeeper
she nodded at me and left
Chase's P.O.V
Katherine and i melted in the kiss , but then she stopped
she got up from my lap and fixed her hair and dress , i looked at her a bit surprised and then Tania came and i couldn't be anything but a bit shocked
"Miss Katherine Mr.Devereaux , Mrs.Estella is asking for you" she said politely
"Thank you , we'll be there in a minute" Katherine said smiling at her
she smiled back at us and left
(I shouldn't let her think that i'm affected by her) i thought
"We should head inside" i said
she nodded at me
we went inside and her mother was talking with my parents
"Mother you asked for us" she said
her mother smiled
"Yes , your father is waiting for us in his office" her mother said
a minute later they left
(i have a bad feeling , i'm not going to like what's going to happen next am i ?) i thought to myself
"Getting comfortable with Katherine aren't you" My mother said
"We were just talking" i replied
(yeah... just talking) i thought again
and then it hits me , where is everyone ?
"Where did everyone go ?" i asked
"They are having a family conversation and so are we" she said
i narrowed my eyes at her
"While you were having a conversation with Katherine , we were talking with the Estellas about a starting a new partnership" Mike said
"I'm sure they won't agree , they have a family business" i replied
"That's the thing son , we have been talking about marrying Katherine to you" she said
(wait what ! , did i hear her right ?)
"I'm not sure i heard you right can you repeat that please" i said
she sighed
"We want you to marry Katherine" she said in a serious tone
"So let me make this even more clear , you want me to marry a girl i barley know , for business" i replied
she nodded
"They are discussing about this right now , and i'm not going to take no for an answer" she said
"And i don't care about what you said , i only came here for Mike who unlike you actually care for me mother" i replied
"Why do you care anyway it is only ink on paper , you don't have to do anything , why are you even complaining , Katherine is beautiful , smart , and will take over her father's company once he retires" she said arrogantly
before i could say anything Julio interrupted us
"I hope you have an answer for us by now" Julio said with no expression on his face
i looked at Katherine and she looked like a blank page , there was no face expression on any of them
"Yes we did" my mother said as she looked at me with fierce eyes and then turned to look at them
"For us it's a yes" she added
Katherine looked at me and i stared back at her (Are they forcing her into this ? i can't say anything now , but i will definitely ask her tomorrow after class) i thought
"The question is , do you agree" Mike asked
Julio looked at Katherine and she nodded
and then she spoke
"Welcome to the family" she said smirking , and i swear that her smirk was evil full of satisfaction
Katherine's P.O.V
Me and Chase melted in the kiss , but then i heard foot steps
i got up from Chase's lap and fixed my hair and dress , he looked at me a bit surprised and then Tania came and Chase's eyes widened
"Miss Katherine Mr.Devereaux , Mrs.Estella is asking for you" she said politely
"Thank you , we'll be there in a minute" i said smiling at her
she smiled back at me and left
"We should head inside" Chase said
i nodded at him
we went inside and our parents were sitting and talking together
"Mother you asked for us" i said
she smiled
"Yes , your father is waiting for us in his office" she said
me and her went there and i sat down
"Katherine, sabes que soy un hombre directo y tengo una propuesta para ti {Katherine , you know i'm a straightforward man and i have a proposition for you} " My father said
(algo huele a pescado aquí {something smells fishy in here} ) i thought
"Mike y su esposa salieron con una propuesta de asociación {Mike and his wife came out with a partnership proposition} " my mother said
"Eso es bueno, son una familia muy conocida en los Estados Unidos. {That's good , they are a well known family in the US" i replied
"Y como saben, nuestras empresas son una empresa familiar, ¿ qué opina de Casarse con Chase ? {And as you know our companies are a family business , what do you think about Marrying Chase ?} " my mother said
(Di que ahora, eso fue realmente inesperado {Say what now, that was really unexpected} ) i thought
but before i could say anything
"Y, por supuesto, puede negarse si lo desea, no voy a presionarlo {And of course you can refuse if you want , i'm not going to pressure you} " he said putting his hand on my shoulder
"Padre, no amaría nada más que extender nuestra regla, estoy de acuerdo {Father , i would love nothing more than extending our rule , i agree} " i said smiling
my mother was shocked by my reaction and so was my father
"Mi hija, tan lista e inteligente {My daughter , so smart and intelligent} " he said petting my shoulder

"Vamos entonces, no es educado dejar a los invitados esperando {Let's go then , it's not polite to leave the guests waiting} " my mother added smiling
(wow, ella parece más emocionada que todos nosotros {wow , she seems more excited than all of us are} ) i thought rolling my eyes
she ignored my behavior and then we went downstairs
My eyes immediately landed on Chase's and he stared back at me
"I hope you have an answer for us by now" my father said with no expression on his face
(God i love it when we do this , not expressing any feelings on our faces so we play with theirs) i thought
"Yes we did" she said looking at Chase and then us
"For us it's a yes" she added
I looked at Chase again , and he seemed really annoyed , angry i may say
"The question is , do you agree" Mike asked
My father looked at me and i nodded
"Welcome to the family" i said smirking
