Aiden tossed and turned for a few hours, but he couldn’t sleep. Alys’s scent surrounded him in his bed and it only reminded him that she wasn’t there. Finally tossing the sheet aside in frustration he decided to get up. He got dressed in what ever he could grab, not caring what he put on, and walked out of his suite. He made his way down to the dining hall, there were a couple of pack members eating breakfast before they left for their early morning patrol, but it was otherwise empty. He grabbed a cup of coffee from the coffee station nodding at the sleepy staff member who was checking on the food and coffee. He sat down in his chair and put his head in his hands. He didn’t know how long he was sitting there, when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
