My legs gave out on me, and I soon found myself on the floor shivering as I tried to level my breathing.
''This was not the plan. I was here to make them all suffer, but it looks like I am the one suffering.'' I screamed to myself.
I was consumed by so many emotions that I didn't notice when a pair of familiar hands were wrapped around me.
'' Hey it is okay,'' I heard Edon whisper into my ear.
'' I am sorry I could not come out to defend you. I couldn't risk him seeing me, but trust me, it will be okay,'' He said again, but I shook my head.
'' No, I do not think it will be. You were right, everything is falling apart, I am being blackmailed and now Landon wants to take away my child, I don't think I can do this anymore,'' I let out as tears rolled down my eyes.
