It was morning, They both went to the bathroom to bath together.
Meanwhile the kids were dressing for school. Taiwo mistakenly push Kenny.
He got annoyed and shouted at her and they began to quarrel.
Bolanle ran to her parents bedroom. 'Mummy! Mummy! Taiwo and Kenny are quarreling' she screamed as she opened the door.
'Couldn't you knock before entering' Bola scolded her.
She apologised and they both went straight to the scene.
'Ahn! Why are you both fighting? And Kenny aren't you meant to be in your room?' she snapped.
Kenny and Taiwo nodded their heads in disappointment. 'We knew it. That your mouth can't stay put.' Taiwo laughed.
'We were just pranking her mum. We knew she was not going to keep her mouth shut. Big mouth!' Kenny pushed her head.
'Daddy!' She ran to Timi in tears. 'Kehinde pushed me' she cried.
'You two should behave yourself!' He snapped pretentiously, looked at both of them and simpered.
'Enough with this charade. All of you go get ready now! Breakfast will be served soon.' Bola looked at him.
They both went to the kitchen to cook. While the children continued with their preparation for school.
Minutes later, Bola called the kids for breakfast while Timi prepared the dining. The children gathered to the dining to eat their food.
After their breakfast, they got ready. Bola and Timi kissed themselves goodbye. The children entered Bola's car.
She started the engine and zoomed off while Timi also entered his car and drove off to work.
As Timi entered his firm, he was bombarded with greetings by all his staffs. Tammy, Timi's best friend and the managing director of the firm, followed him to his office.
His office was decorated by one of the best interior designers in Lagos.
It had pictures of both the president and the Governor of the state.
The floor was tiled and the walls were decorated with wall papers which made the room bright.
The curtains were imported from Thailand.
They both sat on the chair. 'Guy how far nah?' Tammy greeted.
' I dey ooh. The case just dey enter my body' Timi replied.
'Sorry! I know say e no easy. Just calm down.'
'Thanks bro. I forgot to pay the children's fees. If not for Bola, that woman is just too supportive. I'm just....'
' calm down wetin she do again?' Tammy asked.
' She's the best wife a man could ask for. She's my savior.'
'Enough with the praises what did she do?' he snapped
' She paid their fees. She's the best'
' look at you, I thought you were smart' Tammy hissed 'Very soon she'll take over your position as the head of the family' '
Tammy had always been a sexist. Who believes that a man is more superior to a woman.
He believed that a woman is only meant to be in the kitchen and not in an office.
He has alwaysqgx_sss been against Timi and Bola's prenuptial agreements.
' What do you mean?' Timi was confused.
'Your wife is gradually taking up your responsibilities as the head of the family.'
Timi was really confused.
'Isn't it clear. All this are your duties as a man not hers.'
'We're both sharing the..... 'still confused.
' Yes, everything. Your wife owns forty percent of your house, ehn! Very soon it will be this company. '
' Enough! ' Timi was annoyed.
' Really! She'll continue to remind you of how she paid the children fees '
'Leave my office!'
'What! You know...'
'Out, now!' Timi was pissed.
..........................................................
Bola and the children were at home doing their things when Timi arrived. The little twins ran to him and greeted him 'Good evening Daddy'
The older twins also came along and greeted him.
Bola stood up and walked towards him. 'Welcome back baby' she pecked him.
The children murmurs and smiled at their parents.
She collected his suit case and took it up to the room.
They were both both in the bedroom after finishing their dinner.
'So how was work today?' Bola asked.
'it was fine sha. But really, the food you made was very delicious'
Bola blushed. 'Thank you darling. Sooo, about the case, have you found a solution to the case, cause I don't want anything to happen to my husband.'
He smiled. ' I love you, and I'll be fine.'
'Have you paid the children remains, cause I don't want to be called again.' She smirked.
' What do you mean? ' His mood changed.
'Is it because you paid part of the school fees. I've not paid it, so what will you do?'
'What's with the sudden change of mood? I only asked about the kid's fees. What's wrong with that?'
'Really! Show it to my face that I'm an irresponsible father, because I forgot to pay my children's fees.' He snapped at her.
'Blow it to my face, let the whole world know how irresponsible I am'
'Don't talk like this. Just calm down'
'Don't you tell me to calm down. Don't.' He was full with rage .
' Can you just be calm'
' Don't tell me to calm down or else....'
She gave him a hard stare 'Or else what, ehn! Will you hit the. What's wrong with you?' she spoke softly.
Tears began to roll down her cheeks. She was a little scared.
' I'm sorry, l never knew it was going to upset you. I just didn't want the children to be embarrassed again.'
' What are you insinuating, that I'm embarrassing my kids. I won't waste my time with you. Goodnight'
He lied on the bed and turned to the other side of the bed.
She looked at him in tears and touched him to apologize.
'I.. Am.. Sor...'
' Don't disturb, I need space. Understood?'
He removed her hands from him .
' Space! You want me to give you space. Timi I'm your wife' she cried.
' Yes, let me be please.'
She lied on the bed and cried heavily till she slept off
