As I parked the car at the curb, my mom was waiting for me at the door of our house. Jared and I had gone our separate ways the moment we stepped out of my Gramps' gate. I couldn't even bring myself to speak to him, let alone look at him. I just went the other way and never looked back, still confused about the way I acted in the closet. But why does it matter?
