The day it happened, I was lounging on the couch at home, flipping through TV channels with my mother and Linda.
My mind wasn’t really on the show playing, though. I was half-listening to Linda talk about some gossip she had picked up at the pack gathering earlier, but my thoughts were elsewhere.
