Kneeling on the ground, Debora was bound to feel sick. Her stomach lurched from being hungry for too long, her arms and legs felt like jelly and her tongue seemed to be replaced by a handful of sand. But none of those compared to the heaviness she felt in her chest. It wasn't heartache, the heaviness was just there. Weighing her down physically, mentally and emotionally.
