Chapter 2

Prince Didn't Choose His Lover You would both be a great match, an ass-hole and a b***h. A perfect couple. "I can't wait to see the look on the other girls' faces when I become his mate". I couldn't hold back my laugh any longer. It came out without my consent. "Did you just laugh at me?" Eve accused. "I'm really sorry, I just happened to hear someone say something quite ridiculous, that's all." "And what's ridiculous about what l said?" "I never said it was you, but if you insist, be my guest." I shrugged. "You sound so stupid, giving yourself so much hope when you actually know deep inside that you're just a c*m dump for Andrew. Even if he had the chance to choose his mate, trust me when I say he would never, ever choose a bimbo b***h like you." I knew I had hit the right spot, and I was proud of myself. What I didn't know was what she would do next. I watched her as she picked up her cup of chocolate milk and poured it on my head. I thought of slapping her but remembered it was against the rules. In school those days, I knew I had once beaten her up. She had not formed the so-called click then. I knew I could still beat her again. Except for sleeping around with different men, Eve has no strength. I stood there shocked, but kind of expecting it as I watched Eve walk out of the diner, the rest of the sisters following behind her, while glaring at me. I turned around to see Dave standing there, arms crossed. I smiled mischievously at him and he sighed. It's not my fault they can't take a joke. "Just pack your bag and go home. It's almost time for Andrew's ceremony. Go get ready." He shook his head and walked away. I stuck my tongue out and licked some of the chocolate milk that had gotten on my face. What a waste. I looked around to see the other people in the diner staring at me, some confused, some disgusted, and a few amused. I just shrugged and strutted back to the locker room to get my bag. "What did you do?" Avery said, shocked when she saw the state she was in. "Well, I was just trying to advise someone, but they just didn't get it and got angry." I shrugged. "You always get yourself in trouble one way or the other. "Get home safely," she said, walking out of the locker room. I packed my bag and walked home, with the chocolate milk dripping from my hair and clothes. Even though my house was quite far away, I couldn't afford to spend any money on the bus. That's why I chose to walk. People stared at me weirdly and tried to stay away from me, but I didn't care; it was just chocolate milk. Haven't you guys seen anyone drenched in chocolate milk before? When I got home, Justin and Wendy weren't at home, so that was one good thing that had happened that day. They were probably already at the ceremony. I rushed into the bathroom. I really didn't know how long it would take for me to get the chocolate milk smell out of my hair and I had to wash my clothes so Whiny Wendy wouldn't scream the house down when she got back. I laughed at my own joke. I had made up the nickname for her because she always whined and sounded like a dying fish whenever she screamed. I don't actually know what dying fish sound like, but it didn't matter. I put my clothes in the washing machine, before leaving to take my bath. I scrubbed and scrubbed my hair with shampoo, but the chocolate smell still wasn't coming out. I eventually gave up and walked out of the bathroom to check my clothes in the washing machine. I quickly put them in the dryer and went to my room to dress up. I didn't have many nice clothes, so I just wore the only short dress that I had. I quickly made my blonde, almost white hair and stood in front of the mirror after getting my clothes out of the dryer, trying to make myself look presentable. I didn't look all that but it was basically the prettiest I had ever looked. It's not like I'm going to see the Moon goddess or something. The sitting room door was jammed; I forgot to be careful with it. While opening it, it got locked up. I got confused about what to do next. I sat back, thinking of what my next line of action will be. The key I had was the back, and it was jammed locked when the keys were outside. I blame myself for being so stupid for not having removed the keys from the whole just because I was rushing as if anyone could notice my presence. Sitting on the couch, I dozed off. I woke up realizing it was already late and the choice had been made. If I don’t go I will be in trouble. The best was to register my presence no matter what. If I fail to do so, Wendy will skin me alive. Through my uncle’s bedroom, the window wasn’t locked and I could move out from there, I did my best climbing so that they wouldn’t notice that I passed through there. My passage was successful, and I accomplished the mission of getting back the keys I left in the keyhole outside. I quickly left the house and locked the door behind me. I walked as fast as I could because I didn't want to be caught disobeying the Alpha's orders. I already had too much on my plate. When I finally got there, I saw that the entrance was beautifully decorated with fairy lights. It looked so beautiful. I heard a lot of noise coming from inside the pack square, so I went in, curious as to what was going on. I looked to the side and saw her crying in her beautiful red dress, the rest of her B and B sisters, comforting her. I was surprised at first, but I quickly guessed what was going on. She wasn't Andrew's mate. I let out a laugh that drew the attention of so many.
