WorralCHAPTER had no knowledge of wartime regulations in the South of France, but her common sense told her that as the Germans had seized most of the petrol there could not be much motor transport; and what there was would be restricted to people on official business; and as she certainly did not come into that category there was a likelihood of her being stopped.
