It had been four days since my last heat and I was getting agitated having to stay in my room. Luna Alicia had arranged that I could walk around in the passage, but everyone had to evacuate the other floors so no single males would be tempted if I went into heat. Since that was quite the exercise and I hated putting others out, I decided not to ask again after only having left my room that one time. I was getting serious cabin fever no matter the number of books they brought me to read or the amount of television Ridley and I watched and he had spent the first two weeks by my side, which, unfortunately, forced me to tell him to get back to work.
