Ridley’s POV
The scent of rogues hung thick in the air, and from the tracks we could see that there were only two of them. They couldn’t have been here for very long, but at least they didn’t attack. I had hoped that more regular patrols would scare them away and I breathed a sigh of relief thinking that my plan had worked. They probably didn’t expect that I would have arranged for more regular patrols and that we had more warriors out in the fields. I sent out two scouts to follow the tracks and to let me know if they found the rogues.
