ISABELLA The sharp trilling of my phone yanked me out of sleep. I fumbled around blindly, swiping at the sheets tangled around my legs until my hand found the cold device on the nightstand. My eyelids, heavy and stuck with sleep, cracked open halfway as I dragged the phone to my ear. “Hello?” My voice sounded like sandpaper scraping on asphalt. “What the f**k did you do?” Logan’s voice slammed into me like a brick through glass, shattering the last wisps of sleep hanging around my head.
