Something was wrong. Something didn’t feel right. My eyes opened and adjusted to the dim lighting in the bedroom, but something was different.
Then I felt it as she moved a little. We were cuddling. I was spooning her from behind with my arm across her body. She was clinging to my arm like a koala bear to a tree.
Her breathing was relaxed, and she slowly pulled it in to let it out again seconds later. Her body was warm, and even through her clothing, I could feel the softness of her.
This was the first time I woke up with her still in bed, and we were cuddling. It made more sense now why I’d woken up on her side every morning since she moved in. We had been cuddling.
I leaned in, my nose getting covered by her hair. God, she smelled amazing. Her hair had this exotic smell, like a trip
