Aria stared at the picture on her phone, her breath coming in sharp bursts.
The image was useless; blurry, shaky, taken from too far away. She could barely see anything except Gabriel’s car and a faint outline of a woman beside him.
Her teeth clenched. “This is a joke.”
She zoomed in, again and again, as if the woman’s face might magically appear. Nothing. Just a smear of long hair and an indistinct figure leaning toward Gabriel.
Her heart burned.
“Useless!” she shouted, hitting the back of the driver’s seat so hard that he jumped.
