He had called her three times after her words to him on the front porch the night prior. He’d called her five times already today. He knew was behaving like a crazed maniacal stalker and he was helpless to stop himself. He suddenly wondered what his mother would say to him for his own behavior.
It was Tuesday evening and he didn’t usually meet her on Tuesdays but damned if he didn’t want to go to his mama like a small boy. He grabbed his coat off the coatrack at his office door and walked out of the office.
