CHAPTER 21 : [ AYLA'S POV ]

It was about 8 pm and I was feeling hungry , I get up and I notice a blanket was placed on me. I gently remove it and go and close my balcony door. I walk downstairs and I see Alyssa and Alayna playing monopoly '' hello sleepy head ! ''  '' hi guys , whose winning ?''  '' obviously Alyssa is ! ''  '' don't be so jealous Alayna - I have experience ! ''  '' Ayla by that , she means Noah taught her ! '' I walk over to the fridge and take out some cheese and butter. I make myself a toasted cheese sandwich '' you're hungry?''  ''hi father , yeah I'm hungry ! ''  '' you want to get pizza ?''  '' no its fine ! '' '' okay I'll be upstairs ! '' I took a coke and sat down and ate- I took my last pill and went to find my mother.

I walk outside and I see my fathers hands around my mothers waist- I sit down on a pool chair '' mother!'' she turns around '' yes sweetie! '' '' I'm out of pills , can I get on  Monday ?''  '' if you alright with it ! '' '' okay thanks, good night ! ''

I go to my room and sit on my bed- I decide to read a book but then I get a phone call : 

AUNT KATLYNN : '' Hi , its your aunt Kaitlynn - could you go to the bakery tomorrow and pick up the red velvet cake I ordered?''

AYLA : '' Sure , just send me the time and address ! '' 

AUNT KAITLYNN :'' Okay night kiddo ! ''

AYLA : '' Night ! ''

She sends me the address - OMG ! she got to be kidding me - the bakery's name was Crescent Delights ! what if Gerald is there or what if I meet Gigi Crescent ?  this would be a dream come true , okay I need to calm down I just have to pick it up at about 4 pm.

My mother came and dropped off the dress I needed to wear - I was the only one in the house, I quickly showered and opened the special bag which contained the dress. I put on this sleeveless leg slit purple backless party dress along with silver lace up heels . I did my hair in soft curls -since Alayna was the birthday girl I decided to go light on my makeup so I put on rose pink lipstick - I did this double winged eyeliner style with no eyeshadow and I put on a little rose gold glitter blush. I spin around in the mirror - I look good.

I walk downstairs , grabbed my car keys and got in my car. I had to drive to Crescent Delights and I was pretty nervous so I put  on some music  - Soldier of Love by Poesy was playing. In about 2 minutes of the song I burst out singing along . I reach Crescent Delights so I sit for about 10 minutes in my car before getting out.

I walked to the bakery slowly so I could contain my excitement - I enter the bakery and it was so full , I stood in the line until I see a few guys from school. '' Hey Ayla ! ''  I turn around '' hi guys ! ''  '' you look beautiful , is it for Alayna's party that you so dressed up for ?''  '' it is , how did you know ?''  '' we got a invite in fact everyone in school got an invite by your aunt ! ''  '' oh I see! ''  how could she , what If I bump into Gerald?! '' sorry dear , the staff is busy with this birthday cake ! what's your name and order ?''   oh my freaking soul- its Gigi Crescent '' um the red velvet cake ordered by Kaitlynn Statham , I'm Ayla Cooper ! ''

''Oh that's the cake we busy with - the birthday girl is Alayna , right ?''  '' yes ! ''  '' your aunt gave me an invite to the party! ''
