CHAPTER 16 : [ AYLA'S POV ]

It was Friday afternoon , I had about an hour to get dressed for my date with Gerald. I got in the shower , washed my hair and myself with lavender body wash and I used coconut shampoo and conditioner for my hair.

I got out , wrapped a towel around me and made my way to my closet .

I put on this black long sleeve off the shoulder dress with these creamy high heel boots. My hair was styled in these two braids in the front. I did this gold glam cat Smokey eye look - with a double winged eyeliner style and golden rose velvet matte lipstick. I put on this single diamond necklace with this gold half halo diamond ring on my index finger. I look at my ear piercings - it was this black diamond trio tiny stud earrings. I place my phone , wallet , cosmetics in my chain bag and I walk out of my room.

I see Alayna sitting and watching TV - I walk over to the refrigerator and take a bowl out , I dish myself some ice- cream and sit on a chair and eat the ice-cream . I get a message so I open it :
Hey Ayla , I'm outside ! - G

'' Oh shoot ! '' '' what's wrong ? '' I stand up and walk to the door - I look in the mirror " his here ? '' '' yip , how do I look ?'' '' you look hot but he doesn't deserve you or that outfit ! '' '' Take care Alayna ! '' I walk out of the door and so does Alayna.

I neared his car -he has a matte black Audi r8 '' I'll see you tonight !'' '' you will ! '' I smile at her . '' Oh look who it is - Gerald Crescent ! '' '' hi Alayna ! '' '' ready ?'' '' yes , see you Alayna ! '' '' bye , call me if you must!''
[ GERALD'S POV ]
I was driving when I look at her '' you look beautiful ! '' she looks at me and smiles '' thank you , you look really good yourself- do you always look like this when picking up someone ?'' '' only the lucky ones and what do you mean by like this ?'' '' I'm not going to be modest but you look damn good! '' I smirk at her - I don't know why I told her she looks beautiful when in fact she looks really hot tonight.

'' So where we going ?'' '' you'll see ! '' I reach the restaurant- it was called The Top View and it overlooked the ocean. I got out of the car and walked to her side - I opened the door and extended my hand '' shall we!'' she gradually takes my hand and we walk to the restaurant. '' To be honest I've never heard of this place ! '' '' you must have , it opened up last year! '' '' nope never heard of it ! '' '' your parents are rich , aren't they ?'' '' Yes but my father travels a lot and my mother is a scientist so that concludes how I don't know about this place! '' I look at Ayla and she looked pretty sad , I was this type of a guy who never really cared about any girl but Ayla challenges me in so many different ways .

We enter the restaurant and since the owner knew me - we got our own private view . We sat down but Ayla's eyes were fixed only on one place- the view . I look down at the menu '' its so beautiful ! '' I look at her and she averts her gaze to the menu - I took hold of the pen on the table and circled the fine steak , she circles the simple Greek pasta salad '' you're healthy aren't you ? '' '' don't sue because I am ! ''
