CHAPTER 2 : [ AYLA'S POV ]

I walked through the corridors and girls and guys greeted me mainly because Alyssa was famous around here - she's dating Noah Brook , the captain of the soccer team . They respect me because I'm related to her , even her best friends Britney , Sarah and Charlotte who can sometimes be drama queens are totally fine with me. I walk to my locker - put my code in and open it , I take my notepad and my pencil case out and close my locker . " What the hell Davis ? you should sometimes stop stalking people! ''  '' relax Ayla , sorry but not sorry - your sister wants you to come to soccer tryouts today ! ''  '' Alyssa's inviting me ?''   ''think of it as an opportunity . ''   '' Okay bye Matthew ! '' '' wait Alyssa ! '' I turn around to look at him '' its nice to see you again ''  I nod and walk away - the bell rang and I rushed to the notice board  to check my class , I had all the time in the world to check my class but once the guys come you can forget about checking your class , instead you will be leaving with a lot of player's numbers and so I was not going to risk that chance . I was in 12C  - I made my way to my English class , there were no available seats except for the back row where the players sat . I couldn't bargain myself out of this situation so I just sat on the seat- to my left was 4 desks with 4 boys and to my right was another 4 desks with 4 boys meaning I was the only girl in this row.

Class started and the boys passed me the novel , I had no choice but to look at them this time '' thanks ! '' he didn't let go of the novel and I wasn't going to entertain him by begging for the novel so I let it go . It fell on the floor and the teacher looks at them '' BOYS ! '' he gave them a stern look and they handed the book back to me . I took the book after a while of him holding it out to me'' we not going to bite ! ''  '' you have teeth so you can possibly bite ! '' they smirk at me and I open the novel to page 1 - we were reading Romeo and Juliet . I felt like someone was looking at me so I looked up and I was right , Noah Brook was looking at me and then he turns around .

I focused on Romeo and Juliet '' Jessica can you please read for us ! ''  we were on page 6 but I was on page 8 - I was a fast reader . The bell rang at last and I got  up packing my things - I went to the front and gave in my novel , the teacher smiles at me so I smile back at him . I went to my next class and sat in the second row '' 2 volunteers to do the next sum on the board . '' it was Math's and I was pretty okay with Math's . The period went by fast - I stumbled out the door and made my way to my next classes.

It was  finally break time  , I put my books in my locker and made my way to the cafeteria - they were serving sandwiches and carrot cake . I chose the carrot cake instead - I took a seat and everybody went quiet , I look up and they were all looking at me so I stood up and walked out '' wait Ayla ! ''  I turn around and  look at Alyssa '' I know where my place is now ! ''
