MURDER IN THE ORATORY - DECEPTION IN PARADISE Twenty-nine Eddy pulls off the kiss immediately and I swear this is just what I hate. I was beginning to enjoy the kiss then boom! I was just about to kiss him back. Why does the devil always appear in the right place at every wrong time? Eddy turns slowly to look at him, but he has his long arms snaked around my waist protectively. I watch in awe as Alex moves closer to us in slow motion. I cower and tense towards Eddy, but he rubs my back gently, an assurance that I am safe with him. I feel safe. No doubt. ‘’Well, well, well.’’ Alex claps his hands awkwardly at us. He looks like he has been drinking all along. He looks wasted and if you ask me, I’d say I hate to see him here because I know he is only here to make my life a living hell
