“Lorena?”
“Surprised?” Maria smirked as she stepped closer to the two, who were puzzled and curious how she came out of jail.
“H-How did you–” Lorenzo said but he cut his word grabbing Maria's hand and intertwining them.
“Maria, aren't you curious why Lorenzo keeps chasing you? He is always after your life isn't he?” Lorena flicked her finger and one of Lorenzo's men came closer, lighting a cigarette for her that made Lorenzo's brows furrow.
“Surprised again? Hahahaha!” Lorena's laughter echoed in the hall.
“What are you trying to do? Why are you here in the first place?” Maria asked, holding tightly on Lorenzo's hand.
“I'll straight to the point. That man beside you doesn't love you, Maria. Ha! He is after your money, i***t!”
