Part 5 chapter 6
I awake in my room while the sun hasn't even risen. I rub the sleep from my eyes and stretch. Looking over at Star’s bed I smile knowing this was the first night in almost a week I haven't woken up from a nightmare. I yawn and gather all my school supplies into my bag and walk downstairs. I put my backpack near the front door and get a small sudden flashback of leaving the house to our aunt’s as I stare at the door. I shake my head and walk out hoping to see the sunrise as early as possible and maybe even being able to grab some apples from the branches of trees that hang out of people's yards. I reach for an apple off the highest branch looking for the ripest ones. I decided to try and use my wings letting Kirlia’s powers take hold, which was… not a good idea… my wings burst into flames a
