Part 3 chapter 3

The day went by fast as me and everyone else hung out till dawn. Star and I stayed out in the woods for the night and admired the stars. “Hey, Emma can you start fires? Wait, what are all your powers?” Star asks. She rarely asks about my powers, especially after the big fight, so the question kinda startled me. 

“Well let me think… I have my own healing, my fire, my intense speed and strength, but I think that's it. Oh and yeah I can start fires if I lose control of my powers but you know I have that under control.” I replied. 

I notice Star started shivering as nightfall came, I stood up and told her to stay there. I went out of the clearing to gather up some logs, dry grass, and twigs to start a campfire. When I came back I noticed Star was asleep. I went over and put my jacket over her warming her up. I put the materials in a pile and laid down beside her. As I drift asleep I notice a wolf pup walked up to Star and curled up beside her. Once all three of us were comfortable I fall asleep.

I wake up in a darkened room surrounded by stars. “Where am I?” I call out to the darkness. A wolf emerges from the light and takes a step into the lightened area I'm in. 

“Emma, you must protect Star. She is in grave danger! You must stay strong and don't be fooled by who you trust.” the wolf said. He sits down and looks at me. 

“Who are you?” I ask. 

“I am the one who is yet to be named,” he said. As he finished he walks away. Many questions are still on my mind but they cannot be answered just yet. I wait and wait until the wolf disappears.

Everything fades black and I start to hear Star’s humming. I shoot out from under my coat. “How did that get there?” I mumble. As I wipe the sleep from my eyes I look around to see Star looking down at wolf prints. I look around for the pup but is nowhere to be seen, remembering the dream I look at Star and think. She’s in danger? I repeat the wolf words. 

“Oh! Hi Emma, when did you wake up?” Star said looking over at me. 

“About a minute ago. Do you mind if I go and get us some fish?” I ask. She smiles and nods.

3 hours had passed and it’s now noon. We start heading over to our friends again to talk about the plan. The moment we all meet up Cierra hands me her phone so I can call Ira. I put her on speakerphone so we can all chat. We discuss the plan, we have some ups and downs but all in all we hope it will go as planned. As we talk more and more Ira started talking to my friends about how my past was. And somethings I haven't told her came up, I didn't really care because no matter what, I know she will always be there for me. Besides Ava probably told her already.

Star and I had to leave so we packed up and smiled at the others. “bye!” Star yells. As we take off. I shed a tear having to leave them again. 

“Bye guys, I hope we will see each other soon!” I say flying higher. We soar into the sky and start flying off to our house. As we soar to the gas station where we last saw Ava I tear up knowing a good friend backstabbed me! We have to take a break so we fly down into the bushes and then walk into the open. “Let's get something to eat,” I say walking into the gas station. She smiles and joins me.

I look into my wallet to see an extra twenty with a note attached to it. “Thank you for coming back. I never thought I would see you again. Thank you! -from Cierra. PS I thought you would need this for food if you wanted some
