Within Fifteen minutes I rushed into the hospital, and my heart stopped at what I saw in front of me. Tears blurred my vision, and a smile formed on my face, a tear slipping out as I did. Hayden patted my back once, signaling for me to go over to her. I couldn't believe it was real. Just a few days ago, she was severely ill, and now she was up on her feet. Running over, I embraced her, letting everything out. Dean had informed me that she was ready to come home. She had miraculously gotten better. I assumed she knew, but wanted to keep it a secret. She laughed, rubbing my back before she kissed my cheek and smiled.
"It's okay, Baby," she told me. I sniffled, wiping away my tears and pulling away momentarily, allowing her to sign the release forms.
