"Where is this? Where am I?" Zach looked around but could see nothing but darkness and killing silence with no sound except his. "My chest," he placed his hand over his chest, "it doesn't hurt anymore."
"It hurts…" a faint sound of a child reached his ears and he looked around frantically. "My chest… It hurts. Mommy, help me," his sobs echoed around Zach as he kept on searching for the source of the sound.
"Who is this? Reply! Who is it?" His eyes were as restless as his body. This when the whispers fading into sobs and whimpers continued echoing.
"Mommy, I don't want to die…"
"Father will punish me if he hears that I cried, but my chest hurts… I can't help it."
The voice was as calm as the depth of oceans and trembled as abruptly as the waves, hitting the shore every time he cried.
