I grew exhausted from playing with Estella and teaching her self-control in her wolf form; she fell asleep immediately.
I carried her to her room and placed her gently on the bed. She looked incredibly cute while sleeping. As I kissed her cheek to leave, she playfully used her tail to hit me and let out a laugh in her sleep.
Such a funny and lively girl. Martin's voice entered my mind, saying, "Alpha Nicklaus, there is a serious rumor spreading about the return of the New Moon God Luna."
"I thought they weren't real. Where are you?" I inquired.
"I've just returned from the little errand you sent me on," he replied.
"Good, meet me at our usual spot. I have other plans that I need you to carry out for me," I added before ending the mental link.
