Harriet came out of the room, after being kicked by the handsome mafia king she had planned to spend the night with, she felt very disgusted standing alone in the hallway.
she brought her phone and checked the time, it was already too late to go home.
she stamped her feet against the wall, the moment she realizes how far the time has been spent. her eyes bulged with anger, she kicks against the wall and she ended up whining in pain.
“ Why did I have to act so stupid? see where my silly actions have landed me," She said to herself.
“ I can't believe, I'm stuck here all alone, with nowhere to go and how can I go out of this place by this time of the night, what if someone kidnaps me, no, no, I can't begin to imagine that,” She said feeling helpless.
“ I'm such an i***t ” she slaps herself hard across the face.
“ Ouch that hurts" she whines in pain before caressing it.
“ Mom is right, I need to grow up and become responsible, but how can I do that? I'm so obsessed with my freedom, I can't help it ” she continued talking to herself while walking haggardly in the hallway.
“ But right now, I need to find a place to spend the night, I can't sleep here, otherwise I would become a laughing stock when my friends get to hear about this, but something awesome happened today”
“ wait someone pinch me!!, pinch me!! ” she shrieks throwing her hand in the air.
Harriet closed her eyes when the memories of the event that took place a few hours flash into her mind. then she continues shouting
“ Someone pinch me please ” she screams.
Someone suddenly walks close to her and grabs her cheeks with a hard grip. then she yells out, opens her eyes abruptly, and snapped out of her daze.
“ ouch that's hurt " she whines in pain, then she swerves around angrily.
“ How are you feeling now? should I pinch you some more? He asked grinning sheepishly
“ What did you do that for,” Harriet asked glaring at the man, standing before her with a dirty smirk on his face.
Harriet was so red with anger, she wanted to hull insults at him, but she refrains herself.
“ Hey, why are you getting so angry? did I hurt you too much? sorry, but you said someone should pinch you, right?
“ I never asked you to pinch me so hard ” Harriet yells out at him.
“ but I just pinched you a little bit, just like this, I promise ” He demonstrated with his thumb and index finger.
Harriet was already getting fed up with his tantrums, and on top of that, she still needs to find a place to stay for the night.
she held her head in frustration, she feels so tired and frustrated.
“ Enough ” She growls, causing the man, who was busy explaining to halt in his tracks abruptly.
“ Not another word from you, get away from me, you ugly duckling, why did you come close to me in the first place, She yells walking away from his sight.
“ but it's not my fault though, you asked for it, and I gave it to you” the man scream after her.
after she finally lost sight of the man, she opens her purse to bring out her credit card, but she couldn't find it in her purse, she became anxious about it.
she searched her purse, her hands trembles.
Then she halted for a while to think about, where she could have possibly left them and realization soon hit her.
“ No, no it can't be possible, I couldn't have left them in his room, he didn't allow back in there, but what am I suppose to do, where am I supposed to spend the night,” She asked herself series of questions, but no answer was forthcoming.
she slammed the wall with her fists, then kick the wall angrily.
“ I'm such an i***t, why did I have to forget my cards in his room”
” But I think it's a blessing in disguise, right? at least I would be able to get a closer look at the handsome Mafia king, but that's if he allows me into the room again, but I have no choice, I have to go to him, even if I need to plead with him”
“ what if Tristan sees me here, whatever happens, I will handle it, but now let me enjoy the moment” she shrugged off the thought.
She pivoted, heading towards the room, but the security guard ran after her and caught her in her tracks.
“ I'm so ma'am, but you can't be walking around randomly at this hour, it's late, you have to go to back your room or leave the vicinity of the hotel” he explained gently.
“ Do I look like I have a room? can't you see I'm stranded” she scolds him
“ Ma'am? are you okay? do you need to see a doctor?
“ Why are you asking me dumb questions? do I look okay to you? I'm sick, I'm f*****g sick and stranded, she kicked the walls hard.
“You are such a crazy-ass ” the man scoffed.
“ How dare you call me a crazy ass!! do you know who I am? do you know what I can do to you right now? wait I will show you how a crazy-ass behaves, I will make you regret saying this to me” she berates him.
“ You are nothing more than just a crazy stranded duckling ” the man responded.
“ I'm sorry ma'am but I will have to escort you out of the hotel ” he moved towards her and grabbed her arm tightly, leading her out of the hallway.
“ Let me go, I say let go of my arms, I will show you what I'm made off, you just wait and see what I will do to you, once I get myself together, I said leave me ” she shrieks and kick him, but he wasn't ready to listen to her shouts.
While he was dragging along, her phone began to ring,
“ let me take this call, I said let me go, right now ” she yells, but he didn't listen to her.
He threw her out of the hotel, and she fell.
“Is this how to treat a woman? I'm going to make you pay for this” she said with a gritted teeth.
Due to the darkness of the night, Jasper couldn't see who he was dealing with, so he treated her this way.
immediately Jasper left after throwing her out, Harriet dialed a number, after few rings the person picked up.
“ Hey Harriet, it's late, why are you disturbing my sleep ” Bella scolds with a sleepy tone.
“ Can you pick me up from the hotel Vertex? I'm stranded, and my car has refused to start, Please? I promise to make it up to you ” she pleads.
“ what vertex? by this time? fine, I will be there “ She resigns, standing up from her bed lazily.
After few minutes, Bella arrived wearing a hoodie that covers her head down to her neck.
she beckons on Harriet to hop in, the moment she arrived.
“ come on, let go hop in, she beckons on her and Harriet walked swiftly towards the car.
“ Hey, why are you dressed like that? you look razz ” she said.
“Will you keep it down,? I had to do this because of you, be quiet and let me drive in peace.
Harriet obeyed her and kept quiet, then Bella zoomed off with full speed.
