Rose’s eyes were unfocused. She could surely feel the effect of the bond being severed. It was as overwhelming as feeling it the first time meeting your mate, maybe even more, as the pain was unbearable.
Bryce didn’t hesitate and lifted Rose after seeing her reaction. He was about to walk back carrying her, but Rose suddenly yelped and squirmed after a short recovery. She was flustered, but maybe for another reason.
