Blue messaged us that he had something very important to tell us and asked us to go to their house. We rushed there as soon as we could. Leilah was worried that something had happened again. She was clearly freaking out, although she refused to admit it.
“That kid didn’t even tell me what’s going on,” she said, panicking as we prepared to leave.
“Maybe it isn’t too bad. Let’s just wait until we get there and find out what’s happening,” I said, trying to calm her. She really is like a mom to Blue.
