“Mama, can we call Papa right now?” Calum suddenly requested after I finished a call with a patient. He suddenly went out and patiently waited for me to finish.
It wasn’t a suggestion but more like a request.
I got out of my table and led him to sit.
“Calum, I already explained to you that he’s busy right now. Your papa is finding the missing alphas, remember?” I spoke in a low tone as a patient of Dr. Carol was still waiting.
He nodded, “I know, but Papa seems sad right now. Can we please call him to check?”
His eyes glimmered for a second. I had to discreetly look around and make sure no one was looking at us. Fortunately, the couple waiting for the first patient before them were busy talking among themselves.
