“I heard from Blue that you packed him some lunch. Thank you for that. He said he enjoyed it.” Leilah said after she got out of her office.
I couldn’t help but smile, “Really? He liked it?” I asked, failing to hide my excitement.
Leilah chuckled, “You know what? If everyone could be as happy with simple things as you are, this world would be a better and happier place. I swear, you’re the easiest girl to smile.”
“Cooking for people is something that I really enjoy. It’s my passion, but I lost it after losing a lot in my life. I’m glad to have people to cook for now.” I answered while thinking about what I should cook for the next full moon. Kei was really excited. I should take some of his suggestions.
