KILLIAN They were all gathered in the open space of the second floor when I arrived, but the person I was itching to kill wasn’t around. They all backed away after seeing my expression. My wolf is starting to act up again, pushing us to shift. I walked towards the front, all of them giving way without delay. While the others were backing away from me, I heard Kenneth walking behind me, cautiously following my steps. He looked at me with both curiosity and fear. “What’s happening, Alpha?” He continued approaching me with caution. “Where are the elders?” I asked instead of answering his question. I’m nowhere near calm and would only anger myself if I tried to explain. He flinched but still answered my question. “They’re on their way. Alpha, please calm down. You’re scaring everyone.”
