Chapter 9

Jennifer’s POV

I cried. I don’t know how long I was crying, but when I finally finished, I was laying on Jonathan instead of Jason. Jason and Justin were sitting next to us. They looked really concerned. I stood up and started passing. Where should I start? I took a deep breath.

“Jennifer, we need to talk about this. I don’t know if it is a good idea to tell them everything,” Jasmin said.

“If we don’t trust them, then who can we trust. They are my mates, and if I should be able to trust anyone, it should be them. I’m not sure I can continue to lie to them like this. I want to be closer to them.

“We need to be careful. It was their own Bata that is working with your father!” Jasmine reminded me.

“I know, but that doesn’t mean that they are not worthy of my trust,” I told her.

“Please just be careful. Don’t tell them anything that you don’t think is absolutely necessary.”

I took a breath where to start?

I looked at Jason, Justin and Jonathan. “I am sorry about that, I had a really bad nightmare, but it wasn’t just a nightmare, it was memories. I want to explain things to you, but I am still trying to figure out everything, so I need you to be patient as I work through everything,” I told them. I tried to stay as close to the truth while trusting my wolf.

I took a deep breath and started to explain to my mates exactly who I was and who was after me.

“I was born to Alpha Matthew Jefferson of the Full Moon Pack. He r***d my mother and mated with her, because she was a white wolf and he had heard that a female white wolf would have powers and when they mate, the Alpha could then use those powers. Apparently, my mother didn’t have any powers. So, he let her live just long enough to have the baby, hoping that the baby she was carrying would be the white wolf the legends talked about. The one the Moon Goddess sent to rule as Queen over all the werewolves. When she had me, he killed her. I have been in the dungeon my whole life. He hated that he had to wait for me to grow up. Wait for me to get my wolf. His plan was to see me turn and if I was a white wolf, he would mate with me and receive powers from me. His hatred however grew and he would come in to my cage and beat me. Sometimes he would use his hands, a whip, or even wolfsbane. Whatever he felt would make him feel better at the time. I received my wolf about two weeks before my 16th birthday. That is when my wolf helped me break away from him. Because my wolf is the daughter of the Moon Goddess, she was strong enough not to transform, so he didn’t know that I had my wolf, or that I was the white wolf.” I told them.

“Wait, you’re telling us that you have powers and you’re the white wolf,” Jason asked.

“Yes,” I said. I used my power to turn the faucet in the bathroom on. Then I moved the water around the room. When it swirled around the room, I caused it to turn to snow and they were covered in snow. I giggled at the sight of them covered in snow. They all gasped, looking at me in astonishment.

“Wait it was you in the woods,” Justin asked. I nodded with a smile still on my face. 

They looked at each other. “There is no way in hell we are letting him anywhere near you. He would have you mated before we could get close to getting you back. I think we should dose up Samuel and Ethan, because now we don’t need them. Also, baby I really think we should mate, that way if your father does get ahold of you, there is nothing he can do to you. It is the best way to keep the power out of his hand and the best way to keep you safe,” Jason said.

I slowly nodded. I knew that I couldn’t let my power get into my father’s hands.

Awesome, the first thing to do is to have the Beta’s and top Warriors meet us in the office. I have a few vials on wolfbane in my desk. We will have them come into the office and start giving order, like we are worried that there is a coming war. Then Justin mind link Jonathan and on the count of 3 Justin you will inject Samuel, since he is technically your Beta and Jonathan, you will inject Ethan. You have to make sure and do it at the same time, so that they cannot contact the Alpha. Do we all understand,” Jason asked.

We all nodded and made our way to the office. Jason had me sit on his lap, while Justin and Jonathan got the ejections and stood on opposite sides of the room. “I will start making two teams. I will put the groups together, so that Ethan and Samuel are in the correct groups, make sure to get right behind them, before you inject them in the necks.” Jason said before he mind linked the men we needed here.

Slowly they started to file in. When everyone was here Jason cleared his throat.

“Gentleman, we are concerned that there may be a breach coming our way. We feel that the best course of action, to make sure that we keep the future Luna safe, is to divide into groups and check the perimeters to make sure that there aren’t any weak spots. I will call your names to make teams so we can check the areas. We are going to have three teams,” Jason said. He started calling off men and they started moving. I watched them closely as they moved.

“Excuse me King Jason,” Samuel interrupted.

I felt Jason stiffen. “Yes, Samuel,” he said.

“Shouldn’t someone stay with the Future Queen, I would like to…,” Samuel started but that was as far as he could get before both Samuel and Ethan went down at the same time. Everyone turned around and looked at the two men.

Jason was the first to speak. “Gentleman, we learned that Samuel and Ethan were planning to kidnap our mate, your future Luna, and take her to the man that held her captive before she escaped and found us. I need these two men to be taken to the dungeon, but we need to make sure they stay sedated and in chains. The other thing we need to do is to increase the border patrol. When the man realizes that his men have failed, he may send more, or he may wage war. So, we need to keep on our toes. Now, please get these two men into their cells and chain them up, I will talk to the pack doc and see how often we need to inject them to make sure they don’t wake up,” Jason said and motioned for everyone to leave. After everyone had left Jason pulled me closer and whispered in her ear. “Can we finish what we started last night,” he asked. I looked between all three of them. I wanted this, but was this the best thing for us to do right know or should we wait.

“I want to go for it. I think we are ready,” Jasmine told me.

I smiled at them.
