Today marks the start of our school’s intramurals, a week-long event filled with sports competitions. Some students are getting ready to compete, while others, like me, are working on cheering props, such as the banner we’re making for Yuri, who’s playing in the volleyball tournament today.
We scatter photos of Yuri, all filtered with whitening and face-smoothing effects as requested, onto a white foam board, embellished by the words ‘Let’s go, Yuri!’ in bold gold lettering. Emily adds a final touch with delicate blue hearts. Then, we make our way to the school’s Arena, where the volleyball tournament is happening.
